Rachit was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where he has enjoyed growing up and becoming a part of the community. His academic career includes attending the University of Saskatchewan, where he graduated with a Medical Degree in 2018 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiology and Pharmacology in 2014. After completing his Medical Degree, he was accepted into the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the University of Saskatchewan, which is set to be completed as of June 2023. Rachit also has special interests in medical technology/innovation and quality improvement. 

However, don’t be fooled just because he has spent his entire life in Saskatoon; Rachit takes extreme joy in travelling and plans to touch down on every continent—yes, this includes Antarctica. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music and attending live concerts, as well as playing and watching a multitude of sports.
