LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After participation in this session, learners will be able to:

  • Identify Delirium Causes: Recognize the most common causes of delirium and effective prevention strategies.
  • Apply Best Practices: Review and integrate the latest evidence and best practices for delirium prevention, recognition, and management.
  • Implement Current Tools: Incorporate recent guidelines and tools into your daily emergency practice.
  • Utilize New Protocols: Familiarize yourself with and begin using the new Provincial ED Delirium Management Order Set.
