Dr. Arlo Johnson

MD, PEng, BASc
PGY-1 Regina

Arlo was born and raised in Northern B.C. His post secondary education started with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering with distinction from UBC Okanagan in Kelowna B.C. He then spent most of a decade working in construction, project and operations management while obtaining his Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation in 2017. After many pre-contemplative years, he eventually decided to pursue a career in medicine, and graduated from UBC’s Northern Medical Program in Prince George. He was the recipient of the “Dr. John Ryan Excellence in Emergency Medicine Award” and is excited to officially begin his next career with the USask Emergency Medicine Team. His academic interests are in pediatric emergency medicine, transport medicine and administration.

Outside of work, he is a dedicated dog dad to Halle, a useful spouse to Crystal, and a marginally average athlete. CrossFit, hockey, golf, and especially fly fishing are his primary hobbies.
