Josh was born and raised in Vancouver, BC (looking for winter coat recommendations!). He is excited to no longer need to buy vitamin D in bulk.

He was first introduced to emergency medicine through lifeguarding and working as a paramedic. His time working at Insite fostered a passion for social EM and he is also interested in trauma, ultrasound, and PEM.

Outside of the hospital, his time is largely taken up by doting on his feline children (Crook and Emmi). He is always down for a round of board games and great food. He recently got married and will run his mouth about animal facts if you let him.
