Peri-intubation Cardiovascular Collapse in Patients Who Are Critically Ill: Insights from the INTUBE Study identify potentially modifiable variables associated with peri-intubation cardiovascular instability/collapse.

Learners will be able to describe the harms associated with the peri-intubation period and peri-intubation hemodynamic instability and identify and develop strategies to avoid risk factors for cardiovascular collapse in the peri-intubation period.

Article 2: Dr. Evan Formosa (Resident) with Dr. Segun Oyedokun (Faculty)

Effect of Intravenous or Intraosseous Calcium vs Saline on Return of Spontaneous Circulation in Adults With Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest

Determine whether administration of calcium during out-of-hospital cardiac arrest improves return of spontaneous circulation in adults. Learners will be able to employ an evidence-based approach to the use of Calcium in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
